Her dedication to working with marginalized groups in North Florida led her to become an AmeriCorps member, with the National Health Corps. Ariel has been awarded national achievements for her work in birth equity. Ariel received a B.S.

Ariel has been awarded national achievements for her work in birth equity. Ariel received a B.S. in psychology from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU), a master’s in social work (MSW) from Florida State University and M.Ed. in Sexuality Studies from Widener University in Chester, Pennsylvania. Ariel is a consultant and facilitator for small business owners, providing guidance on gender and sexuality, mental health, and other social issues. For fun, Ariel loves to listen to Jazz and enjoy nature. She resides with her family in North Florida.

She is also a certified professional Coach, a Licensed Trainer, Author, and Speaker. Adriene has worked in multi-disciplinary areas and across diverse market sectors, and the faith community. It is through her career experience and accomplishments that Adriene leads Abelita in its consulting, engaged in the practice of transforming people, organizations, & communities. Adriene represents the U.S. as a board director for the International Association for Public Participation, where she chaired the Global Task Force for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. She is the author of Mirror, Mirror: What Reflection Do You See, guiding the reader to greater self-awareness and transformation, and Timely Matters, a time-management journal, and has published several articles as a guest columnist. She earned a B.S. in civil engineering technology from Florida A&M University, a postgraduate certificate in management from the University of California, Irvine, an M.A., and a Ph.D. in Theology. She is an ordained minister, earned certificates in Apologetics, Human Rights, and the Diaconate.

He has received national and international awards in stakeholder engagement and organizational change, and he enjoys assisting organizations create a culture of communication that systematically raises trust, lowers anxiety, and builds capacity for meaningful stakeholder engagement. John earned a B.A. in history from Loyola University of Chicago, and an M.Ed. and a Ph.D. in organizational development from Colorado State University. He is a board director for the International Association for Public Participation (IAP2). For fun, he hikes in the Rocky Mountains, cycles in the Black Hills, paints, and plays the flute. John resides in Colorado.
